Order Now
Once you have added items in your basket, and are ready to checkout you will need to create an account. If you have already created an account with us, please log in. There is an option to send your password if needed.
It is important that you create your account with an active email address. We will send you a confirmation with your order number in an email to that address.
Also, your account information should not be order specific. You should give us your valid contact information. After you log in, you will be taken to pages where you can enter in different shipping or payment information.
You'll receive your order number once you have completed the order.
Payments & Refunds
The CSM College Store accepts cash, personal checks, travelers' checks, money orders, and Master Card and Visa credit cards. Additionally, student grants are accepted in the form of book vouchers obtained through the Bursar's Office.
Your name, address, and phone number should appear on the front of the check. Your student I.D. number is required on the check. Checks should be made payable to CSM College Store for the exact amount of the purchase. Sorry, we cannot cash two-party or payroll checks. The Bursar's Office will charge a $50.00 fee for each returned check.
Gift Certificates are available for purchase in-store and online but are only redeemable at the three college store campus locations.
Refund Options
- Pay by check, refunded by check.*
- Pay by cash, refunded by cash if purchase was under $50.
- Pay by cash, refunded by check if purchase was over $50.*
- Pay by credit card, refunded by credit card. Credit card must be present to process refund.
*Refunds by check are generated by the Bursar's Office and will be sent to you by mail. Please allow 10-14 business days for processing of refund check.

TEXTBOOKS
- A full refund will be given in your original form of payment if textbooks are returned within the first week of class with original receipt.
- Textbooks must be in original new condition. Textbooks must be in original packaging. If product packaging includes shrink-wrap, the shrink-wrap must be intact.
- No refunds on activated E-Textbooks
- No refunds on opened software, CDs, or access codes
- Textbooks must be in original new condition
- No refunds or exchanges without original receipt
SOFTWARE, AUDIO, VIDEO & SMALL ELECTRONICS (including calculators)
- A full refund will be given in your original form of payment if merchandise is returned within 10 business days with original receipt.
- Opened software, audio books, DVDs, CDs, music, and small electronics may not be returned. They can be exchanged for the same item if defective.
- Merchandise must be in original condition
- No refunds or exchanges without original receipt
COMPUTER HARDWARE, PARTS, PERIPHERALS, AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS
- A full refund will be given in your original form of payment if merchandise is returned within 10 business days with original receipt.
- Merchandise is returned in the unopened, original packaging. If product packaging includes shrink-wrap, the shrink-wrap must be intact. They can be exchanged for the same item if defective.
- Merchandise must be in original new condition unopened and with original tag
- Computer systems are subject to the return policies of the individual vendors.
ALL OTHER MERCHANDISE
- A full refund will be given in your original form of payment if merchandise is returned within 10 business days with original receipt.
- Cash back on gift certificates will not exceed $5
- No refunds on gift certificates
- Merchandise must be in original new condition unopened and with original tags
RETURN POLICY FOR ONLINE ORDERS
What happens if I ordered online and I need to return my textbook?
If you are wanting to return because you dropped your class or no longer need the book (within 10 business days of your shipment).

Please make sure to include a copy of your packing list in your shipment. Once we receive and have verified the book’s condition we will refund you.
If your class has canceled by the College of Southern Maryland the bookstore will provide a shipping label for you to return your book. Please contact us at bksasst@csmd.edu.
